AFTER HOURS

A 2025 PROJECT

A light series exploring the intimate and mundane rituals that unfold in a kitchen after a long day. This project is a love letter to domestic spaces that transform as the day goes on.

This is rooted in the nightly habit of coming home at the end of the day: still dressed up, throwing my bag down, and cooking dinner. Inspired by my roommates walking in on me during these moments, usually catching me in a state of half performance and half decompression.

The kitchen at night becomes a stage for ordinary rituals like watching water boil, wishing the microwave would go a little bit faster, eating that pint of ice cream, or pouring a small celebratory glass of wine.
